Servants of God Ministries (SOG ministries) is dedicated to strengthening Adventist churches and schools in Bali by promoting spiritual growth, education, healthy living and healthcare and community development. Its mission focuses on building sustainable institutions through collaboration with local leaders, community partners, and global Adventist networks.
Bali’s Adventist communities face key challenges such as limited infrastructure, insufficient funding, and a lack of educational resources. Addressing these issues requires improving facilities, training educators, and enhancing community engagement to ensure stronger local impact.
To overcome these challenges, the Ministry aims to foster global collaboration through shared projects, fundraising, volunteer programs, and knowledge exchange. By connecting Bali with international Adventist communities, the Ministry seeks to create lasting partnerships that support education, healthcare, and outreach initiatives.

Kerobokan, Bali — October 18, 2026
The Jembatan Lintas Kasih Foundation (YJLK) has once again demonstrated its commitment to social and humanitarian service by conducting a visit and providing spiritual outreach to inmates at the Kerobokan Correctional Facility (LAPAS) in Bali on Sunday, October 18, 2026. The outreach session, which took place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Indonesian Time (WITA), was attended by approximately 270 inmates. A seven-member YJLK team was present to share love, offer moral support, and instill a sense of spirit and hope in those currently serving their sentences.
For this event, YJLK invited Pastor Leonard Ferdinand as a guest speaker. He is well-known for his profound personal testimony—a journey from a dark past toward repentance and a complete transformation of his life. This experience serves as a cornerstone of his current ministry, which includes visits and spiritual outreach to inmates in various correctional facilities across Indonesia. Through his message and words of encouragement, Pastor Leonard Ferdinand urged the inmates not to lose hope, even when facing difficult times. The past does not have to dictate the future; everyone has the opportunity to repent, improve themselves, build a better life, and prepare for the future with a sense of responsibility. This message served as a reminder that transforming one’s life requires courage, sincerity, and the willingness to start anew. With God’s help, every individual has the chance to experience a renewal of life and become a person who brings goodness to their family and society.
For YJLK, ministry within a correctional facility is more than just a social visit—it is a tangible expression of love that transcends an individual’s background. Every human being retains their inherent dignity, value, and the opportunity to grow. Behind the walls of the correctional facility, there are individuals in need of attention, support, the strengthening of their faith, and the hope required to rebuild their lives. Through this initiative, YJLK hopes that the inmates will feel increasingly motivated to navigate their time in custody with a positive attitude, develop better character, and prepare themselves to return to their families and society as more responsible individuals.
YJLK also expresses its appreciation to the Kerobokan Correctional Facility in Bali, Pastor Leonard Ferdinand, and the entire team that supported the realization of this outreach program.

Yayasan Jembatan Lintas Kasih (YJLK) — Serving as a Bridge of Love for Others.
6 September 2026, we paid a visit to one of our elderly SDA members who lives in the village of Tigawasa. It took us more than 2,5 hours driving from the city to this village, and we walked around 400 meters from the nearest road. This elderly father’s name is Ketut Toria and he is about 103 years old. He became believer about 20 years ago.
Across the villages and communities of Buleleng, there are people who may never walk through the doors of a church—but they are waiting for someone to walk through the doors of their homes.
They are families facing economic hardship. Elderly people living alone. Children who need encouragement and educational support. Families who struggle to access healthcare. And individuals who quietly carry questions about life, faith, purpose, and hope.
Behind every village is a family.
Behind every family is a story.
And behind every story is a precious soul.
These are not simply communities on a map. They are people whom God loves.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has been called to share the Gospel—not only with words, but through lives of compassion, service, and love.
Reaching people means being willing to go where they are.
It means visiting their homes, listening to their stories, praying with them, caring for their health, helping their children, offering practical assistance, and building genuine friendships.
It means allowing people to see the love of Christ through the way we serve.
Our desire is to develop a sustainable outreach ministry throughout Buleleng—one that combines evangelism, healthcare, education, humanitarian assistance, family ministry, and personal friendship.
But there is a challenge.
There are many communities that need to be reached, but our ability to reach them is limited by available workers and financial resources.
Buleleng is geographically vast. Villages are separated by significant distances, and reaching them requires transportation, fuel, ministry materials, food, accommodation, medical supplies, educational resources, and dedicated volunteers.
There are people willing to serve.
There are pastors willing to go.
There are church members with skills in healthcare, education, children’s ministry, social work, technology, music, and evangelism.
What is often missing is the support that makes it possible for them to go.
Without adequate resources, ministry that could reach more people must move slowly. Communities that could receive regular visits may only be reached occasionally. Opportunities to serve can be missed—not because the desire is lacking, but because the resources are insufficient.
Imagine a team arriving in a remote village.
A healthcare worker checks the blood pressure of an elderly grandmother who has rarely received medical attention.
A volunteer sits with a family and listens to their struggles.
Children gather for an educational and Bible program.
A pastor opens the Word of God and shares a message of hope.
A family receives practical assistance during a difficult season.
Someone who has felt forgotten discovers that there are people who genuinely care.
And before the team leaves, they pray together.
This is how lives are touched.
This is how trust is built.
This is how hope begins.
This is how the love of Christ becomes visible.
We believe the ministry in Buleleng can become stronger, more organized, and more sustainable through the development of a dedicated Buleleng Outreach Team.
The team could bring together:
Together, they can establish regular outreach programs in selected communities, identify local needs, develop relationships with families, provide health and educational services, conduct evangelistic programs, and follow up with individuals who are seeking spiritual guidance.
Our vision is not simply to make one-time visits.
Our vision is to build relationships that last.
We want to return to the same communities again and again—serving, listening, encouraging, teaching, praying, and walking alongside people on their journey toward a better life and a deeper relationship with God.
Not everyone is able to travel to Buleleng.
But everyone can have a part in reaching Buleleng.
Some will go.
Some will serve.
Some will pray.
Some will provide their professional skills.
And some will provide the financial support that makes the work possible.

Ketut Toria’s son-in-law is a hardworking man who earns a living through the traditional craft of weaving pieces of bamboo into sturdy bamboo boards. He purchases the raw bamboo materials for approximately Rp100,000 (USD 5.80) and, through his skill, patience, and hard work, transforms them into finished boards that can be sold for around Rp250,000 (USD 14.50). This simple yet meaningful livelihood provides an opportunity for him to support his family and build a more secure future. With the skills he already possesses, he is hopeful that someone will come alongside him and provide the support he needs to develop this small business, increase his production, and create a more sustainable source of income for his family
Jembatan Lintas Kasih Foundation has Successfully Conducted a Charity Clinic at Padang Sambian, Denpasar, Bali.
Jembatan Lintas Kasih Foundation, established to serve the needs of Balinese communities—particularly the elderly—successfully conducted a Charity Clinic on March 15, 2026, at Wantilan Padang Indah, Padang Sambian Kelod, Denpasar, Bali.
The event was met with great enthusiasm, reflected in the significant number of participants in attendance. Following the completion of preparations, local residents began arriving to take part in a range of health services provided. These included body weight measurement, blood pressure and temperature checks, cholesterol screening, and on-site medical consultations with qualified doctors.
In addition to these services, participants received free medications and vitamins. The program also featured health education sessions, complemented by a live demonstration on how to prepare healthy juice, promoting practical and sustainable wellness habits within the community.
Overall, the event marked a meaningful and successful first step for the Foundation in its mission to bring accessible healthcare and health awareness to the community.
